Job Summary
We have an exciting opportunity in Sandwich for a Payroll Assistant to support a rapidly expanding organisation. This role is a full-time off-based position working Monday- Friday, 8am to 4pm.
You will be employed on a temp-perm basis.
Responsibilities
- Working to support the payroll team to input timesheets for the operatives
- Processing timesheets for circa 700+ operatives, ensuring payroll meets deadlines
- Chase any missing timesheets, annual leave forms, and sickness forms
- Work closely with colleagues and managers to ensure queries with timesheets are resolved
- Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
- Using accounting SAGE software
Skills, Education and Experience required
- Related experience and/or understanding required – applications from those who have just started within payroll will be considered
- SAGE knowledge and experience
- Confident and proficient in using Microsoft Office
- Strong communication skills
- Accuracy and a good eye for detail
